Frontline Property Management was incorporated in May 2016, to help individuals and small investors up to medium-sized rental portfolios manage their investment properties and tenants. Co-Owner Tammy, now a seasoned Property Manager, has been looking after landlords’ portfolios since then and provides them the service they need to run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably.
Frontline Property Management operates out of both Barrie and Tottenham, Ontario, placing the company in the center of its core operating area: Simcoe County (Alliston, Angus, Barrie, Bradford, Collingwood, Essa, Innisfil, New Tecumseth, Orillia, Oro-Medonte, Springwater, Wasaga Beach); Peel (Bolton, Caledon); York (Aurora, East Gwillimbury, King, Newmarket); and Dufferin County (Orangeville). Currently, the company manages roughly 180 units, with a mix of residential, commercial, mixed-use, and condo investment properties, and has been growing every year by approximately 50%. With an already stellar reputation, Frontline’s goal is to become the region’s best full-service property management company.

Tammy Nicholas (Co-Owner)
First and foremost, Tammy is passionate about making property owners profitable! Now an expert property manager, she came into the field after having spent numerous years as a Team Lead in collections and as a Manager of a small financial business. Tammy’s greatest strengths are in management, leadership, customer service, and dispute resolution, making her especially skilled at handling difficult conversations and solving complex problems. Tammy thoroughly enjoys spending time interviewing tenants, showing units, dealing with maintenance concerns, and running credit checks. Moreover, she is extremely effective at resolving challenging situations, like late payments, debt collection, difficult tenants, and, if necessary, court hearings. Having lived in Barrie since 1990, Tammy knows the region very well and, outside of work, enjoys being the mom of a boy and a girl.
Leslie Ann Finlay (Co-Owner)
With over 30 years of finance, accounting, and business experience, including over a decade as an owner of two small businesses, Leslie Ann’s experience spans many areas. Leslie Ann specializes in trust fund accounting, which essentially means that she is the gatekeeper of client funds. Each client’s funds are collected and dispersed according to client agreements and Frontline’s policies and procedures. For Frontline’s clients, Leslie Ann focuses on general rent collection, annual rent increases, late rental payments, contractor and service provider payments, Landlord and Tenant Board hearings for non-payment of rent, landlord monthly statements of trust account activity (monies received and paid), and monthly deposits for clients. Leslie Ann has been both a landlord and a tenant, so she understands the dynamics involved in the property rental relationship. This insight assists Leslie Ann in dispute management and tenant negotiations and communications.
Thomas Pepin (Advisor)
Thomas is a management and strategy consultant who serves Frontline as an independent advisor across all functional areas of their business. Thomas’ core competencies are in comprehensive research, analysis, and planning, as well as creative problem solving. His expertise comes from many years of experience and multiple qualifications, including: MBA (Mississippi State University); BBA (Laurentian University); Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (Georgian College); Certificate in Human Resources Studies (Georgian College); and more.
